K, This is actually been a reality for a few months now but it's still big news and it explains the fact that I haven't been on Zaadz these last few months. I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!! ya I'm excited!!!!!! I never thought that this would happen but well IT DID. (sigh) he is so wonderful and I love him so much. He's here on Zaadz too. I can't believe how little time I have to plan this wedding (42 weeks) it seems like a long time but it really isn't. I just hope that I can get everything done in time. *sheesh* the one thing I wish I had known about before hand is the cost...I mean $450 for a dress $2500 for a caterer $4000 for a PHOTOGRAPHER who DOESN'T EVEN GIVE YOU THE NEGITIVES. I don't think so, I need that money for more important things...like putting a down payment on a house. oh well I'll get this done if it kills me.

Ok, I admit it, I confess, I am SCARED TO DEATH. In the last two weeks we have had four threats of violance toward students at the college that I attend, and three of those were over the last three days. I'm losing class time like crazy, and so I don't know if I will be able to pass finals, but I am more concerned that the college will stop taking these threats sereously and that someone might get hurt. I guess that all I can do is pray. Pray that they catch whoever is doing this, pray that it's a prank, pray that nothing bad happens. Well I guess I'll know whether or not they caught this person soon enough. But somehow I think I already know the answer.

I can't believe that I didn't post something yesterday...I'm Irish and I forgot one of our fav holidays. *smacks forhead* oh well HAPPY SAINT PATRICKS DAY!!! 

I had thought that the best thing I could do would be to join the military, I had signed, I thought, all of the papers...and then I began to talk about my decision to a friend of mine, someone I met here on Zaadz. He, by talking, listening, and offering advice. showed me that this wasn't what I really wanted to do with the rest of my life...not even the best years of my life...he taught me that I DO have the potential to be or do whatever I want. For this I can't thank him enough...especially since I got lucky and had not signed one of the paper's. If not for my friend and his guidance, I might have made a big mistake...One will never know.

Ok...so after a talk with my friend that wrote the poem well here it is.

The Knowledgeable Soldier

A woman of pride and respect

She has a devoted life.

Her job is to protect

America from the enemy's strife.

She has a surprising strength

As she is very independent.

Passion without a length,

And an attorney to the defendant,

She upholds justice.

Her morals are rock hard,

Not even knowing what lust is.

She is also a wild card

As her spontaneous curiosity

Furthers her A class mind.

She has a vicious animosity

When it comes to being in a bind.

No one messes with this translator

Cause she'll smite the perpetrator.

I received a great gift from a friend today. He is a very talented young poet that, as a sign of friendship, wrote a poem about me. I am greatly honored by this act. I would post this poem, but I fear that he would be slightly embarrassed by that. All I can say is that it is was a great act of kindness on his part and it is something I shall cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you my friend.

K so last night I got into a interesting conversation with one of my friends. He asked me "is fear a weakness"  Well in my opinion it isn't a weakness, but it isn't a strength either. I mean fear can keep us from doing things that we NEED to do. But at the same time it keeps us from doing things that could get us hurt or killed. We also talked about why God created the devil...It never ceases to amaze me that people can have differant opinions and without even knowing it can help answer the questions of one another just by being honest in their opinion and listening in earnest to the opinions of the other.

Ok. Washington weather is NOT like this. We never get heavy snow just heavy rain. We are into our third day of snowfall and have already got a foot and a half. I mean if you live up on baker or the like then I could see you gettin this kind of snow but not at the 500 foot level. It's pretty cool though, no school, can't get in to work, so I can just stay home and get caught up on all of my chores. Sean and Amber went sleding for about two hours and came back in looking like walking snowmen. If they had their way the snow would never leave. It is SO PRETTY. I'll see if I can upload a photo later. More to follow.

Yep I musta been moved to Alaska last night. It's snowin again and I was told that we are supposed to get ten inches total tonight and more tomorrow. More To Follow

I am amazed, it is only November and we have already had our first snow. This like never happens, did I somehow go to sleep in WA and wake up somewhere else? Like Alaska?? Snow is already melting so probably not.  This is going to make for an interesting winter. well gotta go ta church. Ciao
